Riverstone International School is an independent, international, coeducational, day school. Riverstone is the first International Baccalaureate World School in Idaho.

The school is authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. Riverstone serves students from the Treasure Valley area of Idaho and from all over the world. Over the past several years, Riverstone has enrolled students and employed faculty from six continents.

The Diploma Programme has approximately 15% of its student body from countries outside of the United States. The international students are housed with host families in the Boise area.

The educational philosophy of the school is built upon a foundation of five pillars: Academic Excellence, International Understanding, Community and Service, Leadership by Example, and Outdoor Education.
